Come down rain
Pour down
Pelt against my window
With all your strength
Pound on the roof
Fill the potholes
In the driveway
Until they overflow
Let the heavens cry
All the tears they hold
Keep nothing back
Let it all out
Flood the earth
Submerging the world
In your cleansing and renewing
Life giving waters.
